Aperte goes online, and fishy SEO people

Well, finally I've set up a website to go with my new company, Aperte, which I've started in order to do some proper freelancing in the Amsterdam area. If you're dutch, take a look at aperte.nl. Yes, it's a braindead WP install, but I wanted to get online asap (spellchecking needs to be done too :)
I'll set up a proper (English+Dutch) website as I go along, busy enough as it is :)

On the Morphix-side of life, I've gotten an offer via mail from a certain SEO company. Brendan pointed me to their inquiery on the Morphix forum, and posted that I wasn't interested in getting Morphix involved with any corporate sponsorship (Aperte is not, and will never be a 'Morphix company', for there can be no such thing).

I've heard about certain FLOSS projects accepting this type of 'sponsorship' from SEO companies before. The trick is that the FLOSS-project website is used to host heaps of pages, designed to trick Google-users into viewing ads or having them redirected to other sites. The pagerank of the project website is thus abused in order to promote the SEO-companies customer websites.

I would like to state, again, that these kinds of 'sponsorships' are wrong on so many fronts and go directly against the principles of Free and Open Source software.
